Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the government took initiation for creating awareness among the farmers about the modern methods that can be used in cultivation to get more profits with less investment, through a novel programme ‘Mana Telangana-Mana Vyavasayam’.

The government had taken up various projects to supply more irrigation water to Sircilla district since the district has more barren land, he informed.

The farmers must cultivate their fields, scientifically growing the crops, which suits their soil the best by testing soil conditions.

He urged the farmers to utilise such programmes by attending in large numbers and get aware of various modern methods of cultivation, advised the Collector.

Krishna Bhaskar inspected the nurseries at Sardapur village of Sircilla mandal and Venkatapur village of Yellareddypet mandal.

Joint Director of Agricultural Department Shailaja and Rural Development Officer Panduranga were also present along with others.
