Says BJP, RSS encouraging communalism in the name of Gosamrakshan

Khammam: All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) district president Bandi Ramesh alleged that the leaders of BJP and representatives of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) were encouraging communalism in the country in the name of Gosamrakshan.

As part of the call given by the National Committee of AIKS to help the kin of Pahal Khan of Nayawath region of Haryana State financially, the representatives of AIKS of Khammam district organised alms-seeking programme here in Khammam on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramesh alleged that the representatives of Gosamrakshan killed Pahal Khan who was transporting cows in an auto trolley after purchasing them in Rajasthan. But alleging that Khan and his friend, Ajmith, were carrying cows for slaughter houses, the Gosamrakshan members killed Khan and injured his friend in full public glare.

BJP and RSS are trying to threaten people of other religion in the name of Gosamrakshan, he alleged. The representatives of various peoples’ organisation and intellectuals must condemn such action of BJP and RSS, he said, adding that to help the family of Khan and his friend, an alms-seeking programme was being organised.

There is huge response from people to the programme, he informed. Several AIKS representatives took part in the programme.
