Narsampet under lens as cops install CCTV cameras
Installation of CCTV cameras is very helpful in preventing crime along with identifying the criminals, observed Mahabubabad MP Sitaram Naik after inaugurating the newly installed CCTV cameras at the East Zone of Warangal Police Commissionerate in Narsampet on Tuesday.

Following the orders of Warangal Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu, the Narsampet police staff installed 64 CCTV cameras at seven main routes and at various important locations in Narsampet town along with establishing new control room to supervise the monitoring of CCTV cameras.
The cameras worth Rs 15 lakhs were sanctioned from MP funds. Speaking on the occasion, MP Sitaram Naik said that it is good to see that the police officials are taking several steps for maintaining law and order under control and for the welfare of the people.
The police officials are gaining faith among the people due to various activities taken up by them for public welfare. The police officials must build confidence in the people further with friendly policing, the MP advised.
Civil Supply Department Chairman Peddi Sudarshan Reddy said that CCTV cameras were installed at various locations in Narsampet keeping in view the security of women and children. Persons who misbehave with women and children could be identified easily with the help of these cameras, he added.
Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu said that CCTV cameras will be useful to identify the criminals along with proving the crime and also in maintaining law and order under control.
East Zone Divisional Superintendent of Police Ismail, Assistant Commissioner of Police of Narsampet Muralidhar, Inspectors Devander Reddy, Kishan and staff members of police department were present along with traders and students.
