Take steps for speedy transportation: Collector Preethi Meena
The District Collector Preethi Meena, on Thursday, directed the officials concerned to take steps for transporting grains from the IKP purchasing centres to the mills immediately.
Mahabubabad : The District Collector Preethi Meena, on Thursday, directed the officials concerned to take steps for transporting grains from the IKP purchasing centres to the mills immediately.
The Collector inspected the IKP purchasing centre in the mandal headquarters of Kambalapalli and enquired the IKP members about how they are testing the moisture presence in grains before they purchase. He also made inquiries about the details of farmers who sold grains, about the register and the bill book.
The Collector suggested the officials concerned to display on the board mentioning about the details of minimum support price that is fixed to grains based on the presence of moisture in the grains.
She ordered the officials to transport about 1,600 bags of grains that are present in the IKP centre to mills by tagging them and hiring three lorries immediately.
The Collector also inspected the IKP purchasing centre in Adcherla Village of Maripeda mandal. The District Civil Supply Officer Lakshman and the Manager of ESFC Mahendar accompanied the Collector Preethi Meena.
