Rajashekar Reddy, Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police of Warangal Police Commissionerate, has been chosen as the ‘Best Passport Enquiry Officer’ for gathering accurate information from the applicants who applied for passport and for taking appropriate steps for issuing passports in time to the applicants.

Warangal: Rajashekar Reddy, Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police of Warangal Police Commissionerate, has been chosen as the ‘Best Passport Enquiry Officer’ for gathering accurate information from the applicants who applied for passport and for taking appropriate steps for issuing passports in time to the applicants.

The award will be given by the Ministry of External Affairs to the employees for performing excellent work in the departments related to External Affairs.

He will be presented the award by Sushma Swaraj, Minister for External Affairs at a function to be held in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Rajashekar Reddy had been appointed as Police constable in 1985 in Hanamkonda and had worked at Nallabelli, Eturnagaram and Subedari. Later, he was promoted as head constable in 2009 and transferred to Intelligence Department.

In 2013, he was promoted as ASI and presently Rajashekar Reddy is working in City Special Branch Department. The Warangal Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu congratulated Rajashekar Reddy for getting the Best Passport Enquiry Officer award.
