Accompanied by District Revenue Officer Shyam Prasad, the Collector inspected the intra-village works of Mission Bhagiratha that were under progress at Marupaka, Nampalli, Thippapur villages of Vemulawada constituency on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector ordered Rural Water Supply Executive Engineer Uppalaiah and Divisional Engineer Sumalatha to take necessary steps to speed up the works to complete them on time.
Later he inspected forest department nursery at Nampally and ordered the officials to grow various types of saplings to be planted under next phase of Haritha Haram programme, keeping in view of the target.
The Collector Krishna Bhaskar also inspected the Government Junior College in Sircilla town and ordered City Municipal Commissioner Suman Rao to lay a walking track in the ground along with gardening and arranging lighting facility.
