Mega health camp organised in Mancherial
Medicines worth Rs 1 lakh were distributed to as many as 1,000 people at a free mega medical camp organised by Nelvoy police in Nelvoy village on Wednesday.
​Mancherial: Medicines worth Rs 1 lakh were distributed to as many as 1,000 people at a free mega medical camp organised by Nelvoy police in Nelvoy village on Wednesday.
A free transportation facility and lunch were provided. Buttermilk and cool water were provided to the people to beat the heat. Dr Lakshman, Dr V Madhukar, Dr Ashok, Circle Inspectors Venkat Ramana, Venu Chandar and Sudhakar had distributed medicines. A total of 20 doctors rendered their services at the camp.
District Collector R V Karnan, Ramagundam Commissioner of Police Vikram Jeet Duggal, Mancherial DCP John Wesley, Ramagundam Commissioner OSD Ravinder Reddy, Bellampalli ACP Satish and Jaipur ACP Kavitha were present as guests.
R V Karnan and Vikram Jeet later felicitated the doctors, who rendered services at the camp. Sub-inspectors of various police stations were also present on the occasion.
