Karimnagar: “Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao once again trying to cheat the people of Karimnagar in the name of development of Manair River Front. He is a man of words but not of deeds,” alleged Ponnam Prabhakar, the former MP of Karimnagar.

Speaking with the media persons here at R & B guest house on Thursday, Ponnam Prabhakar came heavily on KCR and alleged that the ruling party leaders are inaugurating the developmental works without sanctioning and releasing funds for the same.

By diverting the attention of the people to cheat them, the CM will give statements of development but will never implement them, he criticised.

He alleged that before going to Assembly elections in 2014 KCR promised to modernise Karimnagar district like that of London and Singapur but today many pit and holes are seen on the roads. What happened to the 40 poll promises KCR made in 2014? he questioned.

The government was behaving negligently towards the farmers’ issues in the State. Many farmers were in dilemma as the officials are not purchasing their produce and they do not know where to store the food grains brought to the purchasing centres, he pointed.

The Chief Minister held a two-day meeting only to cheat the people in the name of development, but the public know very well that there was no use of such meetings, he alleged.
