Mancherial: Plants should be watered everyday from getting dried up due extreme heat conditions, said District Forest Officer Prabhakar here on Friday.
He participated in the Green Day programme held at IB of District headquarters, along with District Collector.
Speaking on the occasion, the DFO Prabhakar felt it is the responsibility of everyone to save plants. Keeping in view of the existing severe heat conditions, plants must be watered everyday to keep them alive and withstand hot climatic conditions.
He urged the staff working in government departments to water the plants on the occasion of Green Day. Mandal Revenue Officer Sadanandham also participated along with others in the programme.
