Karimnagar: Provide better health services to the patients coming to government hospitals, Finance Minister Eatala Rajendar ordered the officials of health department at a review meeting at R&B guest house here on Tuesday.
Speaking at the meeting, the Minister ordered the health officials to change the bedsheets regularly along with providing better health services to the poor patients, who visits government hospitals, along with increasing the number of normal deliveries in the government hospitals.
Assuring them that there is no deficiency of funds, he told them to prepare a list of required medical equipments and required vehicles and submit it to him. The Minister ordered the health officials to organise Arogyasri mega health camp on June 29 in Karimnagar for all four districts - Peddapalli, Jagtial, Sircilla and Karimnagar.
Speaking to the officials of R&B department, the Minister ordered them to take necessary steps to fill up the pot holes on the roads. He told the officials of irrigation department to take steps for the beautification of lakes by laying walking track, planting flowering plants, laying pipe line with taps to drink water and tables for sitting along with arranging bulbs for light at night.
Complete the first and second phase works of Mission Kakatiya by June 30, he ordered. Talking to the officials of welfare deparment, Rajender assured them steps will be taken for the development of all welfare hostels present in the district along with constructing the compound walls and toilets required.
The Collector, Sarfaraz Ahmed, ordered the officials to take steps for maintaining at least 100 members strength in all welfare hostels along with providing all basic facilities for the convenience of the students staying in the hostels.
ZP chairperson Tula Uma, Karimnagar and Huzurabad RDOs B Raju Goud and Chinnaiah, BC Welfare Officer Sarojana, Additional Director of agriculture department Sridhar, engineers of Mission Bhagiratha and R&B department were present along with District Medical and Health Officer.
