BJP Woman Sarpanch takes Chinamadaram on development path
A BJP woman Sarpanch of Chinamadaram of Kangal mandal who turned the face of the village by implementing Swachh Bharat and other Central government schemes was lauded by party national president Amit Shah during his visit to the village on Tuesday.
Nalgonda: A BJP woman Sarpanch of Chinamadaram of Kangal mandal who turned the face of the village by implementing Swachh Bharat and other Central government schemes was lauded by party national president Amit Shah during his visit to the village on Tuesday.
In a special interview with The Hans India, Chinamadaram Sarpanch Pindi Bagyamma talked about the development and the hurdles she had to face in the process.

Chinamadaram village, where most of the women cultivate green leafy vegetables, has a total of 508 houses. Of them, 450 have built individual toilets. Nearly, 316 villagers are beneficiaries of State government Aasara pensions
While 691 families inhabit the village, 588 already have gas connections under Central government Ujwala scheme and remaining three families received gas connections from Amit Shah on his visit to the village on Tuesday.
Moving a step further, all villagers have bank accounts and most of them carry out digital transactions. While the village boasts of regular water supply, street lights, proper sanitation, drains and roads; Gram Panchayat, Anganwadi centre, health sub-centre and Veterinary hospital have their own buildings.
To provide clean drinking water to students, recently a Reverse Osmosis plant was also set up at the government school in the village. The villagers have also dug water harvesting pits to improve the groundwater table.
Bagyamma informed that the Panchayat carried out several developmental works with the aid of Central and State governments for the last three-and-a-half years. Till now, nearly Rs 1 crore worth works were carried out in the village. Three BT roads in the village and six BT roads to Hamlets were pending.
Calling that appreciation and felicitation by Amit Shah was a great movement in her life, the Sarpanch informed she would ultilise the rest of her tenure for the development of village and strengthening of the party.
Meanwhile, villagers Thottepaka Venkataiah and Gajula Yadadgiri lauded the efforts of the Sarpanch for taking the village on to the path of rapid development.
