Hanamkonda: Telugu Desam Party State general secretary and Warangal Urban district president Eega Mallesham has said that the party will discuss the TRS government’s three-year rule and expose its failures in the one-day Mahanadu scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, he said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had failed on all fronts. “Be it in implementing welfare schemes or fulfilling its promises made in the run up to the 2014 elections,” he said.

Mallesham said that due to the TRS government’s failures, as many as 2,700 farmers ended their lives. The government is yet to fulfill its promise of loan waiver. With better part of the loan waiver released had gone towards the payment of interest, passbooks of farmers are still with the banks, he alleged.

Stating that the farmers were not getting minimum support price to their produce, he demanded the government set up market intervention fund to stabilise the prices.

“Double bedroom promise remained on paper. Although the government promised to construct 2.60 lakh double bedroom houses, so far it was able to complete just 1,665 in almost three years,” Mallesham said, demanding the Chief Minister to give clarity on fulfilling his promise.

He also recalled the promises made by the TRS including providing KG to PG education free of cost, three acre land to each Dalit family and job to each household.

Warangal Rural district president Gannoju Srinivasa Chary, GWMC convener Kakke Saraiah, senior leaders PullurAshok, Thulla Kumaraswamy, Margam Sarangam, Bollam Raju, Jilkara Veeraswamy, Thummala Yakaiah, Pattipaka Ravinder, Kodur Srinivas, Chada Ravinder Reddy, Kolgur Rajeswer Rao, Kusumba Rajaiah and Gollapally Eeswarachary were among others present.
