Gaming zones are fun and continue to excite not just youngsters, but people of all ages. Here's a lowdown of whats keeping the adrenaline rush seekers busy in the city

Competition for gaming zones in the city is crawling up high. While the existing ones have been providing an exciting experience to the players, games are now moving towards giving you a real life experience be it digital or live games like Bowling or Laser Tag.

Such a recent game hits our city called Real-life “Escape the Room” game, which provides players with an escape situation from a locked room with the excitement of being the Hero for the one who finds an escape within the playtime.

After establishing the game for three years in Delhi and National Capital Regions (NCR) the game was recently launched outlets at Hyderabad, Pune and Goa with four different theme based mystery games. Being a team game, consisting maximum eight members, it promises to provide alternative immersive entertainment through advance mechanisms, with fun and excitement for adolescents and adults alike.

With a time limit of 60 minutes, all four themes, ‘The Hurt Locker’, ‘Abduction’, ‘Cabin In The Woods’ and ‘Lockout’ come with different kinds of puzzles and mysteries for the players to solve in order to escape. Sapna Bhutani, co-founder, Mystery Rooms said, ''We are delighted with the response that we have received since the opening of our first game room in Delhi.

When we opened our doors, we received a lot of encouragement in term of appreciation from our customers which is incredible and we have been growing week on week ever since. The support has been fantastic and the team aims at releasing at least one new track every two months and to introduce this adventure pan India.'' The game rooms are located at ZONAH Neptune (SVM Mall), Jubilee Hills.

City youngsters seem to be enjoying the live experience provided by Gaming zones as a result of which more of such gaming zones are popping up at various parts of the city. Outlets like SVM and City Center mall cover all different kinds of games such as Bowling, Laser Tag, Xbox, PS4 and other digital games, but students nowadays have started growing interest towards the live games.

Harsh Sharma (24) shares his thrilling experience of playing laser tag with his friends for the first time. "I had only known about it from television until it hit our city outlets. It still the best game to play with a team of friends for a live experience," he said. Bowling is also one of the great games to play with friends during a day out, says Sankeerth (22) who visits City Center mall to play bowling once in a while.

"The latest Escape-the-room game has really got me excited. I have been hearing about it from my friends and can't wait to experience it myself. It definitely calls for a competition in the kind of gaming zones opening up in our city," he says.
