Khammam: State vice-president of Tanjime-A-Insaf Mohammad Salaam alleged that BJP along with Rashtriya Sawayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) were encouraging communalism and trying to create panic among Muslims.

Speaking at the district body meeting of Tanjime-A-Insaf in Khammam on Monday, Salaam alleged that by interfering in the Muslim law and imposing ban on selling of cows and beef along with encouraging communal attacks, the BJP along with RSS and VHP were threatening Muslim community in the country.

“How can they ban selling of cows for slaughter houses? Will they ban the use of leather items such as belts, shoes and sandals that are made of skin of cattle? Will they attack the persons who use leather items?” he questioned.

No single political party has raised its voice against the communal attacks and the strict laws the ruling BJP party was imposing on the Muslims. The State government also did not take any steps for cleaning the surroundings of burial ground and Masjid in the State even after two days of commencement of Ramzan, he criticised.

“The TRS party did not keep up its promise of paying honorarium to Emams, restoration of Masjids and implementation of 12 per cent reservations. It is trying to deceive people with its hollow promises,” he said, adding that every Muslim must understand the hidden agenda of political parties throwing Iftar parties.

Representatives of Tanjime-A-Insaf Md Rehaman, S K Yakub, Md Masiuddin, Sd Abeed, S K Alsaida, Naina Mohammad, S K Akbar, MA Aleem, S K Chana and Md Yousaf were also present along with others.
