Sircilla Sarpanches study tour takes off

​Sircilla: Under Panchayat Raj and Village Development Society, 31 sarpanches of various villages in Rajanna Sircilla district on Monday left to Ankapur, Ankushapur and Gangadevipally villages of Nizamabad and Warangal districts, to study the various developmental activities taking place in these model villages.

District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar flagged off the study tour of the sarpanches. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the tour will be highly useful for the sarpanches in implementing developmental activities in their respective villages, after studying the various activities such as method of implementation of welfare schemes, involvement of villagers in shaping out the village into model village and others.

By interacting with the people of model villages and by studying how the sarpanches of model villages were able to achieve good results, the visiting sarpanches can modify their methods for implementing them in their villages for achieving good results, he added.

The Collector urged the sarpanches to make use of the tour programme properly for shaping out their villages into model villages. As part of the study tour, the sarpanches will first visit Ankapur and Ankushapur model villages in Nizamabad district on May 29 and Gangadevipally model village of Geesukonda mandal in Warangal Rural district on May 30.

On their return journey on May 31, they will visit Mulkanur Milk Dairy at Bheemdevarapally of Warangal Urban district.
