Hanamkonda: Students' Federation of India (SFI), Warangal Urban district committee has demanded the State government clear the ambiguity prevailing over intermediate admissions.

The federation leaders have submitted a memorandum to the Board of Intermediate Education Warangal Regional Inspection Officer (RIO) Md Azad in connection with their demand. The government must immediately give clarity over the online admission process proposed to be introduced from this year, they said.

Speaking to presspersons on the occasion, the SFI district president D Naresh Yadav alleged that the government has been lacking proper planning. As a result over five lakh students seeking admissions in intermediate colleges for academic year 2017-18 were perplexed.

The admission notification was expected to be released on May 5, but it has now been delayed with the government’s failure to give its clarity on whether to go ahead with online admissions or not.

Referring to a statement by TS Board of Intermediate Education secretary A Ashok few days ago, who said that they were still awaiting the nod from the government for taking up online admissions, he said June month has already started and the government has no sense of that.

“The State government’s assertion that online system is meant to check irregularities in admissions, especially in corporate and private junior colleges lacks sincerity.
