With the fresh appointment of chairpersons to different corporations made by the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, Warangal district has got a majority share. In all, the leaders from the district secured a total of 10 chairperson posts.

Former MP Gundu Sudharani, who joined the TRS from TDP, seems to be the lucky person as she got a double bonanza. She was appointed as the chairperson of Women Cooperative Finance Corporation and was made the president of TRS women’s wing.

The TRS students’ wing state secretary general K Vasudeva Reddy, who joined the party in 2004 and faced more than 100 cases, including a rowdy sheet for taking part in statehood movement is a happy person as his three years wait to a get a nominated post has come to an end.

He expressed pleasure for getting an opportunity to work in the TRS government and thanked the Chief Minister for appointing him as the chairman of Telangana Vikalangula Cooperative Corporation.

The appointment of D Gandhi Naik as the chairman of Telangana Tribal Cooperative Corporation has been a real surprise to the local TRS men as he never was in the race for a state level post. His pledge to maintain half mustache and half beard until the formation of Telangana State has impressed many here and it seem to have impressed the CM Chandrashekar Rao as well.

The others, who were holing nominated posts from the district are: Prof T Papi Reddy (TSCHE), P Ramulu (TSTDC), K Rajaiah Yadav (TS Sheep and Goat Development Corporation), P Sudharshan Reddy (TS Civil Supplies Corporation), L Kishan Rao (Agros), Yusuf Javeed (Khadi Board) and B Sampath Kumar (Handicrafts Board).

With the latest appointments, the hopes of those who are expecting the posts have revived and have intensified their efforts to impress the high command to the get the nominated posts.
