Grand celebrations mark 3rd TS Formation Day
Grand celebrations marked the third Telangana Formation Day in Bhupalpalli, Jangaon, Mahabubabad, Warangal Urban and Warangal Rural districts on Friday.
Warangal: Grand celebrations marked the third Telangana Formation Day in Bhupalpalli, Jangaon, Mahabubabad, Warangal Urban and Warangal Rural districts on Friday.
Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari took part in the celebrations in Warangal Urban, Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary in Bhupalpalli, Minister A Chandulal in Mahabubabad district, MLC B Venkateshwarlu in Jangaon and MLC P Rajeshwar Reddy in Warangal Rural district.
The Deputy CM along with ZP Chairperson G Padma, MP P Dayakar, MLAs D Vinay Bhasker, K Surekha and Aroori Ramesh, MLCs K Muralidhar Rao and P Rajeshwar Reddy, District Collector Amrapali Kata and others paid tributes to statehood martyrs at Telangana Martyrs Memorial in Hanamkonda.
They presented a report on the progress of their respective districts and explained the welfare and developmental programmes being taken up by the TRS government. The government was committed for the creation of Golden Telangana, where the needs of every section were addressed.
Cultural programmes and photo exhibitions were held on the occasion. Telangana Formation Day awards were presented to persons excelled in different fields. The local MLAs have joined the celebrations. At Bhupalpalli, some scribes staged a dharna over alleged lapses in awards selection.
