Yadadri: Women should have political progressive ideas, said Communist Party of India state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy. He attended National Federation of Indian Women State-level Political Training Classes as chief guest here on Thursday.

While addressing the meeting, he criticised the Union government for not disclosing its stand on selection of new presidential candidate. Reddy said it was advisable to select the candidate who was acceptable to all political parties.

He condemned the ban on cattle slaughtering and said that it was the violation of fundamental right and unconstitutional. Reddy demanded Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to respond over ban on cattle slaughter and selection of new president.

Venkat Reddy demanded that justice should be done to the displaced persons, and to entrust the Miyapur land scam case to the CBI. He urged the State government to complete pending project works within stipulated time.
