First woman IAS probationer from Wanaparthy feted
District Collector Sweta Mohanty has called upon the youth to excel in Civil Services examinations emulating the example of the 89th ranker, Anvesha Reddy.
Wanaparthy: District Collector Sweta Mohanty has called upon the youth to excel in Civil Services examinations emulating the example of the 89th ranker, Anvesha Reddy.
Earlier, a grand welcome was accorded to Anvesha Reddy, daughter of Suguna and Yugandhar Reddy of Annaram in Pangal mandal of Wanaparthy district, on her visit to the native village.
Later, she was felicitated by the District Collector and other officials at a programme held in the Collectorate.
MLA Chinna Reddy said he was proud to note that Anvesha Reddy became the first woman IAS officer from the district. She proved that Wanaparthy was the seat of education, he said.
After setting the goal, she said, that she worked hard as per a plan and with parents’ support secured 89th rank.
She added that she would motivate rural students to pursue higher education once she finished her training and placement.
