Officials told to prepare estimation report for conducting HH 3rd phase
District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed directed the officials concerned to prepare an estimation report within a week for planting various kinds of saplings under third phase of \'Telanganaku Haritha Haram\'.
​Karimnagar: District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed directed the officials concerned to prepare an estimation report within a week for planting various kinds of saplings under third phase of 'Telanganaku Haritha Haram'.
He held a video conference with MPDOs and APOs of various mandals to discuss about the steps to be taken for organising Haritha Haram third phase successfully in the district, from the Collectorate here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector ordered the officials to identify suitable place like on either side of roads, railway tracks, SRSP canal, on the bunds of lakes and tanks, maintaining three meters distance for planting each sapling.
Sarfaraz ordered MPDOs to take all necessary steps for planting the saplings of flowering plants, which have adventitious roots in surrounding areas of Jammikunta, Karimnagar and Kothapally railway station after taking the suggestions of the station masters.
The MPDOs were also directed to distribute tricycles that were sent to village panchayats to collect waste and to dump it in dumping yards on the outskirts of the respective mandal.
The Collector directed the officials to speed up the construction works of independent sanitary latrines (ISLs) in villages along with geo-tagging those toilets, which were already constructed.
About Rs 3.68 crores was given to MPDOs well in advance through district administration for the construction works of ISLs out of which, the MPDOs must return about Rs 36 lakhs, the Collector ordered them to pay the remaining amount as early as possible without delay.
