The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led NDA government along with  Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was striving hard to create a corruption free India without any scandals and introduced several welfare schemes for uplifting of weaker sections of people in the country, said that Haryana State Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in the town on Friday.

Karimnagar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led NDA government along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was striving hard to create a corruption free India without any scandals and introduced several welfare schemes for uplifting of weaker sections of people in the country, said that Haryana State Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in the town on Friday.

He inaugurated ‘Modi Fest’ which explains about the various welfare schemes introduced by the Central government for the welfare of the people along with digital services provided by establishing different stalls on the occasion of three years of successful ruling of BJP party here at the circus grounds in the town.

Earlier, the Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar received a grand welcome from BJP leaders and activists who took out a massive rally in the city. Speaking on the occasion, he said that with the intention of taking all the welfare schemes to every nook and corner across the country, the Central government introduced digital services for the first time in the country which gave good results.

With the decision of demonetisation of high value currency notes, the government received crores of rupees in the form of taxes. Many lauded the decision taken by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the last 70 years of political history of India, the people did not see such a great leader like Narendra Modi, he added.

Khattar said that with just a one call given by Modi, as many as 1,25 crore people gave up their subsidy amount on the LPG cooking gas and with that money 2 crore gas connections were given so far to the poor during the last three years.

Earlier, many farmers used to stand in serpentine queues for hours together to get fertilizers. However, with the decision taken by the Modi government, they are available now easily at every store, he said.

The State President of the BJP party Dr K Lakshman said that in about 600 different places across the country the ‘Modi Fest’ was organised to create awareness among the people about the various welfare schemes introduced by the Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Earlier in the evening, the District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed, Joint Collector B Srinivas and the Commissioner of Police V B Kamalasan Reddy along with District President of BJP party Kotha Srinivas and Chinta Sambamurthy met Haryana State Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar here at R&B guest house.
