Rains likely to continue for a week
Due to the strong westerly to north-westerly moist winds from Arabian Sea, moderate to heavy rain/thundershowers are likely to continue over the state for another week.

Meanwhile, rains lashed several parts of the state on Friday. The temperatures going down below 38 degrees Celsius gave relief to the people from the sweltering heat.
According to Met department officials, Hyderabad, Vikarabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Mahbubnagar, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool, Jogulamba-Gadwal, Nalgonda, Yadadri- Bhongir, Warangal (U), Warangal (R), Jangaon, Medak, Siddipet, Sangareddy will experience light to moderate rainfall at a few places from Saturday to Friday.
During the same period, Adilabad, Komrambheem- Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Rajanna-Sircilla, Peddapalli, Jagtial, Mancherial, Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, Mahbubabad, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet will experience moderate to heavy rainfall at a few places.
