Meanwhile, rains lashed several parts of the state on Friday. The temperatures going down below 38 degrees Celsius gave relief to the people from the sweltering heat.

According to Met department officials, Hyderabad, Vikarabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Mahbubnagar, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool, Jogulamba-Gadwal, Nalgonda, Yadadri- Bhongir, Warangal (U), Warangal (R), Jangaon, Medak, Siddipet, Sangareddy will experience light to moderate rainfall at a few places from Saturday to Friday.

During the same period, Adilabad, Komrambheem- Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Rajanna-Sircilla, Peddapalli, Jagtial, Mancherial, Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, Mahbubabad, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet will experience moderate to heavy rainfall at a few places.
