Hanamkonda: The TRS district unit is organising an ‘Atmeeya Sammelanam’ to honour the party leaders from erstwhile Warangal district, who have been nominated for posts in different corporations and boards in the State.

The party district president T Ravinder Rao speaking to presspersons in Hanamkonda on Friday informed that the felicitation programme for the leaders would take place on June 19 at Vishnupriya Gardens at 10 am.

The programme is aimed to create a family like environment and bonding among the leaders and cadres. Hence party ranks across old Warangal district should attend the event in large numbers and make it a grand success, he appealed.

Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and TRS mandal level executive members would attend the event. Ravinder Rao maintained that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been striving to ensure corruption-free governance in Telangana State.

He has been strictly containing those in the government and officials from resorting to corrupt practices. Even there are any instances, where officials have committed corrupt acts the government mechanism has been exposing them and initiating penal action. Yet the Opposition parties have been creating ruckus on minor issues, he explaining.

Hitting at TDP, Congress and Left wing parties he said they have lost public support. Acting in desperation, their leaders have been engaged in Goebbels campaigning against the TRS government, which gained acclaim for being the best in the country in introducing welfare programmes.

Hence the party leaders and cadre should make efforts to counter the Opposition parties’ bad campaign. The party workers have to take up extensive campaign about the welfare and development works being implemented by the State government among the public, Ravinder Rao suggested.

While the Congress leaders have become intolerant for being away from power, the TDP leaders are acting at the behest of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to damage Telangana government’s reputation,
he alleged.
