Jagtial: Small districts have been facilitating the government schemes to reach all sections of people, stated Nizamabad MP K Kavitha.

She had participated in the distribution programme of Sada Bainama and Jama Bandhi (land right) papers to the eligible persons of Sarangapur and Bheerapur mandals at Kasturba Gandhi Girls High School in Jagtial on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, the MP said since its formation, Jagtial has become a role model for other districts across the State.

With 97.35 pass percentage in SCC results, in procurement more than one crore bags of food grains and in solving more than 80 per cent of the issues of Sada Bainama lands, the Jagtial district stood at top in the State, she said.

The MP suggested the officials concerned to solve the land issues at the earliest without creating hurdles to the poor people living Sarangapur and Bheerput mandals, which have more forest land.

The government is determined for the welfare of the farmers in the State. From the coming Kharif season, the government will sanction Rs 8,000 per one acre land to every farmer for investing in cultivation along with supplying nine hours of uninterrupted power, she informed.

Kavitha urged the people to utilise all welfare schemes introduced by the government for their benefit such as Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak, KCR kit and Amma Vodi.

District Collector Dr A Sharath said that the Sada Bainama programme is the prestigious one taken up the government, through which total rights on the lands will be given to the persons, who made an agreement in the past with landlords on white papers.

Right from the formation of Jagtial as a separate district, more than 80 per cent of land issues were solved and at present 10 to 20 per cent of applications are coming regarding land issues across the district, he informed.

Jagitial MLA T Jeevan Reddy said that distribution of Sada Bainama papers taken up the government is a gift to the people and must utilise it properly. The government must also take necessary steps for the distribution of double bedroom houses for all the eligible poor people present in the district.

Later the Nizamabad MP K Kavitha laid foundation stone for the construction of about 20 double bedroom houses at a cost of Rs 105.8 crores at Rangampet village and for 20 double bedroom houses constructed at a cost of Rs 125.8 crore at Potharam village of Sarangapur mandal and for 20 double bedroom houses at a cost of Rs 125.8 crores at Chinna Kolvai village of Bheerpur mandal.
