Orugallu Kala Vaibhavam gets underway
Three-day cultural fest `Orugallu Kala Vaibhavam’ got underway in a grand manner here on Friday. Tourism Minister A Chandulal and Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) Chairman Pervaram Ramulu have launched the festival by inaugurating a poets meet and seminar on Warangal literature at Hotel Haritha Kakatiya in Hanamkonda.
Hanamkonda: Three-day cultural fest `Orugallu Kala Vaibhavam’ got underway in a grand manner here on Friday. Tourism Minister A Chandulal and Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) Chairman Pervaram Ramulu have launched the festival by inaugurating a poets meet and seminar on Warangal literature at Hotel Haritha Kakatiya in Hanamkonda.
Addressing the gathering they said the event was aimed at promoting rich and unique culture and heritage of Warangal. Artists from across erstwhile Warangal and other places have been invited to take part in the festival being held first time after formation of Telangana.
Carnival, seminars, performances of song and dance, screening of short films, art exhibition and others were part of the festival.
