All eligible will get 2BHK houses, Jagtial Collector assures

​Jagtial: The MLAs of respective constituencies will distribute double bedroom houses to all eligible poor families present in the district, assured District Collector Dr A Sharath.

He participated in Grama Sandarshana programme in Aksaipally village of Dharmapuri mandal on Monday and interacted with the villagers and enquired about the problems they are suffering with.

Informing the villagers that construction of double bedroom houses will commence once they identify suitable place in Aksaipally village and then they will be distributed to the beneficiaries, the Collector directed the officials to identify place for the same at the earliest.

He ordered the officials concerned to issue job cards to those, who do not possess under Employment Guarantee Scheme and told them to allot work on every Friday after forming groups.

The Collector inspected anganwadi centre in the village and enquired about the workers the services they were providing to the children and about nutritious diet provided to pregnant women.

Sharath ordered the Rural Development Officer along with the other officials concerned to organise Grama Sabha immediately in the village and to identify the beneficiaries under various welfare schemes introduced by the government.

Take necessary steps for admitting the children in government schools, especially in higher classes by educating the parents that the newly established Gurukul schools are providing high standard education along with providing accommodation and meals freely to the students, advised the Collector.

He suggested the villagers to visit government hospitals, which were modernised in recent times and provide all facilities to the people and said that the women, who deliver in government hospitals will get KCR Kit along with welfare schemes like Amma Odi.

Rural Development Officer Dr G Narender, Dharmapuri MPDO Shashikala, Tahsildar Maheshwar and staff of Employment Guarantee Scheme were present along with others.
