Olympic Day Run on June 22 in Mahbubnagar
The district Sports and Youth Welfare department in Mahbubnagar is gearing up to take part in the Olympic Day Run on June 22.
Mahbubnagar: The district Sports and Youth Welfare department in Mahbubnagar is gearing up to take part in the Olympic Day Run on June 22.
As part of this event, the district sports administration and Telangana State Sports Chairman Venkateshwar Reddy had given a call to students, youth and women to take part in it and make it a big success. “We are giving top priority to sports in the State.
As part of the Olympic Day Run, being held across 200 countries, the State government is also organising it officially,” informed Venkateshwar Reddy.
The government has decided to conduct the Olympic Day Run in 27 districts across the State. The event would go on for four days starting from June 20, in Hyderabad. In Mahbubnagar, the authorities have decided to conduct the event on June 22, at 6.30 am.
First and second prize winners would be given mementos, while all those who take part in the event would be presented T-Shirts, informed Satya Vani, District Sports and Youth officer, Mahbubnagar.
