Ponguleti’s plea to KCR
Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was adopting negligent attitude towards Singareni dependent jobs, Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has demanded that the State government fulfill its assurance given on the issue.
Hyderabad: Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was adopting negligent attitude towards Singareni dependent jobs, Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has demanded that the State government fulfill its assurance given on the issue.
Speaking to media here on Tuesday, Ponguleti said several sons-in-law of Singareni employees were eagerly expecting dependent jobs and now they were contemplating to divorce their wives for want of jobs.
He also alleged that the government was resorting to illegal arrests of the agitating workers in order to foil the ongoing strike. He demanded that the Chief Minister immediately solve the problems of the workers instead of allowing the people to perform Palabhisekham to his portraits.
He also claimed the State government has failed in implementing the loan waiver scheme. He lashed out at the banks saying they that were giving gold loans but not farm loans. He said the MarkFed was selling fertilisers at more than the market price.
