Collector assures sufficient compensation to oustees
District Collector Gaurav Uppal assured a good compensation package for families, who were displaced for the construction of service roads in villages along the Narketpalli-Addanki bypass road.
​Nalgonda: District Collector Gaurav Uppal assured a good compensation package for families, who were displaced for the construction of service roads in villages along the Narketpalli-Addanki bypass road.
On Thursday, the Collector inspected the Yellareddygudem, Charlapalli, Marriguda and Duppalapalli villages, where service roads are needed for the safety of respective villagers.
During the interaction with villagers, he urged the evacuees to come forward and give up their lands for the construction of service roads.
He assured them that the State government would offer them an attractive compensation package, three times more than the market rate.
He directed the officials of the Roads & Buildings Department to issue notices for land acquisition immediately to start the construction of roads.
Joint Collector Satyanarayana Reddy and RDO Venkatachary were also present.
