Use T-wallet for digital transactions, Khammam JC tells people
To encourage people to move towards digital transactions, the government has introduced T-Wallet system in the State, said district Joint Collector T Vinay Krishna Reddy here on Friday.

He participated in an awareness meeting on digital transactions organised for Mee-Seva centres representatives at Technical Training and Development Centre in the town.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that as part of the implementation of “Prime Minister Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan’ (PMGDISHA) programme by the Central government, the TRS government designed a special App called T-Wallet (Telangana Wallet) for carrying out digital transactions in the State.
By installing T-Wallet App in the mobile phones, the private and government related transactions could be carried out with ease. Without smart phones also, this App could be installed and digital transactions could be carried out, the Joint Collector added.
He said that digital transactions could be carried out using T-wallet app through personal computers. For registering and downloading this App, one must visit telangana.gov.in website. Extra money would not be charged by carrying out transactions using T-Wallet app, he added.
The representatives of the ‘mee-seva’ centres must create awareness among the people on T-Wallet app, said the Joint Collector.
PMGDISHA Coordinator P Suresh Kumar explained to representatives of Mee-seva centres about the methods of using T-wallet App for carrying out digital transactions through power point presentation.
District Manager P Durga Prasad, representatives of Mee-seva centres and others were present on the occasion.
