Karimnagar: People should utilise modern technology like Hawk Eye introduced by the police department to lodge their complaints without coming to the police stations, advised the Commissioner of Police, V B Kamalasan Reddy.

Led by the Commissioner of Police, about 150 police personnel conducted Cordon and Search operation at Theegalaguttapally under Karimnagar Rural police station in the early hours of Wednesday.

Interacting with the locals, the Commissioner advised them to install Hawk Eye application in their smart phones for utlising the services of police personnel.

The top boss assured the people that necessary steps would be taken for preventing consumption of alcohol in open places along with taking actions on the persons, who run belt shops.

Kamalasan Reddy advised youth to keep an eye on people they found suspicious in their surrounding areas and inform the police as soon as they notice them.

He appreciated the Village Protection Force for discharging their duties perfectly along with advising the people to install CCTV cameras to keep check on crime.

All sections of people must come forward for participating in the prestigious Haritha Haram programme and must plant saplings and also must protect them, appealed the top boss.

The police personnel seized 17 two wheelers, one tractor and two autos during Cordon and Search operations, for not having proper documents.

Karimnagar Rural Assistant Commissioner of Police V Thirupathi, Thimmapur inspectors Shashidhar Reddy and Ch Ramesh were present along with 150 police personnel during the search operation.
