Blood oozes from Mother Mary statue?
The premises of Lurdu Matha Church of Singaram village at Inavolu mandal in the district has witnessed a rush of devotees on Thursday as the news of blood oozing from the eyes of an idol of Mother Mary at the church spread.
​Warangal: The premises of Lurdu Matha Church of Singaram village at Inavolu mandal in the district has witnessed a rush of devotees on Thursday as the news of blood oozing from the eyes of an idol of Mother Mary at the church spread.
The church father T Marreddy and others felt that it was a precursor for bad things to occur and offered special prayers, attended by large number of people, who arrived from different places at the church to witness the spectacle.
It was said that Mother Mary’s statue was installed inside the church on Sunday and the shedding of tears in red colour was found on Wednesday.
As the devotees assumed that Mother Mary was in tears, the others felt that coloured water might have been coming out of the statue due to some manufacture defect.
