Hanamkonda: Rohini Super Specialty Hospitals Chairman Dr Buchi Reddy has called upon the pharmacists to deliver their duties with utmost care in view of their importance in the society.

Taking part in ‘St Peter’s Day’ celebrations at St Peter’s Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPIPS) in Hanamkonda on Thursday, he said pharmacists have a very important role to play in the well being of patients.

The St Peters’ Day is a liturgical feast in honour of the martyrdom of the apostle St Peter. Marking the occasion, certificates were given away to the students who have completed their B Pharmacy graduation.

The founder of St Peter’s Institutions, T Balareddy, asked the graduates to uphold ethics and standards they were taught during their course.

He told the students to make use of their education for the welfare of the society. He inaugurated a new air conditioned seminar hall at the college.

Rohini Super Specialty Hospitals Managing Director Dr Kranthi Rao, SPIPS secretaries N Narayana Reddy and T Jayapal Reddy and the Director of Warangal Institute of Medical Sciences Reverend K Vijay Kumar wished the graduates good luck in their future studies and career.

The College Principal Dr Rajasekhar informed that the students of the institution have got 18 PGECET and nine GPAT ranks during this academic year due to the committed efforts and team of the faculty. Large number of students and parents were present at the event.
