Karimnagar: The police department had launched an unique programme titled ‘Kalisi Vunte Kaladu Sukham’, through which counselling would be given to couples to solve petty issues between them.
Instead of separating over petty issues, wife and husband must live together by understanding each other keeping in view of their children’s future, advised Commissioner of Police V B Kamalasan Reddy at an orientation programme conducted at the Commissionerate conference hall here on Friday. As many as 45 couples participated in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, the CP Kamalasan Reddy said that more than thousands of cases related to the troubles between couples, will be lodged at various police stations annually. All the cases that were lodged under the Commissionerate limits will be solved under this programme by organising counseling session to both wife and husband.
Due to lack of joint families and inability to adjust to live in joint families is forcing many people to separate from each other for silly reasons, he pointed out. “Before taking the decision to separate, the couple must think about their children.
Children without parents are more vulnerable to develop bad habits,” the top cop said. Women Police Station Circle Inspector Srinivas Reddy was present along with other police officials in the counseling session programme.
