Support to Kovind: Gutha slams Congress for flaying TRS

​Nalgonda: MP Gutha Sukender Reddy ruled out Congress leaders’ criticism over the TRS support to NDA presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind.

Addressing the newspersons in Nalgonda on Monday, Gutha said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao after discussing with the party leaders announced party’s support to NDA presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind and the Goods and Services Tax for the welfare of the state at larger extent.

Stating that people of Telangana and leaders of TRS has great respect for Congress presidential candidate Meira Kumar, Gutha informed that TRS was not interested to become poll partner of the NDA in next elections.

Expressing his concern over the agitations taken up by the farmers of ivy gourd for MSP, the MP said he would bring the matter to the notice of Chief Minister for justice.

He listed out various programmes designed and marketing facilities provided to sweet lime growers in the district by the state government.

Former MLA Nomula Narasimhaiah, TRS leader Dubbaka Narsimha Reddy, MPP Pasham Ramreddy and others participated in the press conference.
