SCCL to plant one crore saplings

Kothagudem: Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Singareni Collieries Corporation Limited (SCCL) N Sridhar on Tuesday has said that one crore saplings were targeted to be planted in all sectors during the third phase of the Haritha Haram programme.
In all, 11 general managers were appointed area-wise to make the flagship programme of the Telangana government a grand success. In the second phase of the programme held last year, the SCCL had planted 60 lakh saplings in 819 sectors, he said.
He expressed the concern of the Singareni management for protecting the environment. He called upon SCCL staff members to take part in the programme and make it a grand success.
