​Khammam: Make all necessary arrangements for conducting Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET), ordered the District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar here in Khammam on Wednesday.

The Collector chaired a meeting with the officials of Education department to discuss the arrangements to be made for conducting the exam, here at his chambers on Wednesday.

Speaking at the meeting, Lokesh Kumar ordered the officials to make elaborate arrangements for conducting the TSTET examination on a smooth note in the district.

About 31,759 candidates are going to appear for the examination, which is going to be held July 23. Paper-I would be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.00 am and Paper-II from 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm. As many as 95 centres are established for the convenience of the students, informed the Collector.

He also ordered the officials of the Police department to make tight security arrangements at the examination centres to prevent any untoward incidents.

Necessary steps must be taken for supplying uninterrupted power during the examination timings along with establishing temporary medical camps at the centres, and arranging the proper bus services for the convenience of candidates coming from distant places, ordered the Collector.

District Education Officer Vijaya Lakshmi Bai, Deputy District Education Officer Muralidhar, District Examination in-charge K Srinivas, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ganesh, Regional Manager of RTC G Jagan and the Superintendent Pavan were present along with others.
