Dacoits rob lorry driver at knife-point in Nalgonda

​Nalgonda: A gang of dacoits robbed a lorry driver and a cleaner of Rs 15000 on Naketpally-Adhanki bypass road near Leprosy Colony in Nalgonda on Tuesday late night.

According to the victim and Nalgonda two town SI Prasad, two offenders wearing masks stop a lorry nearby Leprosy Colony and threatened both driver, Pandya and the cleaner, Dilip Kumar, of the lorry with knives and looted Rs 15,000 cash from them.

Shocked victims, called the police and narrated the incident. Acting on their information, Nalgonda two town police rushed to the spot. They conducted search operations along with Thipparthy and managed to secure vital clues. Police registered a case and further investigation is on.
