Publicity chariot on water conservation flagged off

​Mahbubnagar: Siri Muvva Kalasamithi in the district has embarked on a novel programme to spread awareness on water conservation in the district. As part of this programme, District Collector Ronald Rose flagged off the publicity chariot, ‘Prachaara Ratham’, on the Collectorate premises on Wednesday.

The team of Kalasamithi will tour in eight selected mandals and 62 villages for over a week. “Water conservation is very important and it is the duty of every individual toconserve every drop of rain water. As we are facing acute shortage of water during summer, it becomes our responsibility to capture and conserve water,” said the Collector.
