Farmers asked to pay PMFBY premium in time
District Joint Collector Ravi Naik has urged the farmers to pay the premium of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) scheme in scheduled time to avail the benefits during natural calamities. On Thursday, Naik flagged off the scheme’s promotional vehicle at Collectorate.Â

​Bhongir: District Joint Collector Ravi Naik has urged the farmers to pay the premium of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) scheme in scheduled time to avail the benefits during natural calamities. On Thursday, Naik flagged off the scheme’s promotional vehicle at Collectorate.
Addressing the officials of Agriculture and allied departments, he suggested them creating awareness among farmers on the scheme through promotional vehicle.
He directed them to take all measures to prepare farmers to pay the premium in time and advised to promote through posters, flexies, and pamphlets.
District Agriculture Officer Harinath Babu, officials Ramesh Babu, Devi Singh, Yadagiri Rao, Srinivasulu, Mohana Kumari and others attended the programme.
