Parkal (Warangal Rural): Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s diplomatic visits to foreign lands have ensured Rs 15 lakh crore investments in India, informed Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan vice-chairman Perala Sekhar Rao.

He said the PM, who visited nearly 45 nations during the past three years, have interacted with industrialists, businessmen and government heads and appealed them to invest in India. Of the Rs 15 lakh, crore Rs 4 lakh crore investments has come from Saudi Arabia alone.

The foreign investments were being made by foreign entities as part of NDA government’s ‘Make In India’ and ‘Skill India’ initiatives. The investments would lead to creation of thousands of jobs to youth, who comprise 80 per cent of the population in the country, Shekar Rao explained.

He addressed an impressive gathering at Parkal on Friday as part of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sammelan’ organised under the aegis of National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC), a public sector
undertaking.

Normally if any party runs government for three years, charges of corruption comes up. But Modi administration has remained free from corruption and bold decisions were being taken for the growth of the nation, he noted.

During the past three years a total of five lakh families got gas connections, five crore toilets were built at government schools, and lakhs of small traders availed Mudra loans. All these measures were meant to set right 60 years of misrule by Congress and to end poverty in the country.

Shekar Rao informed that the Centre has major contribution in every welfare scheme being implemented by the TRS government. But the State government has been altering the names of central schemes and claiming them as its own, while huge amount of funds was being diverted to other schemes.

He called upon the BJP cadre to make door-to-door visits in the villages and explain the centre’s welfare measures and how the TRS government was misusing central funds. Besides, efforts should be made to take the central schemes to the real beneficiaries.

BJP state general secretary G Premender Reddy said that Centre was contributing 50 per cent of funds to the distribution of KCR Kits. In Telangana new roads worth Rs 60,000 crore were sanctioned, sanctioned AIMS, two dry ports, revived NTPC and fertilizer factory by the Centre.

But the Centre was not given its due credit by the State government, he alleged. BJP Warangal rural district president A Ashok Reddy, senior leaders Ch Janga Reddy, P Vijaychander Reddy, S Jaipal, V Sriramulu, Parkal municipal councillor RP Jayanth Lal, NBCC officials JP Guru and R Thomas were present.
