Officials told to expedite 2BHK works
Deputy Director of Ministry for Rural Development Mohit Sharma advised officials to maintain quality in construction of 2 BHK houses.
​Suryapet: Deputy Director of Ministry for Rural Development Mohit Sharma advised officials to maintain quality in construction of 2 BHK houses.
On Friday, he along with Telangana State Housing Corporation chief engineer Satya Murthy visited the 2 BHK houses under construction in Singireddypalem of Penpahad mandal and independent houses in Maddirala mandal headquarters, in Suryapet district.
Speaking on the occasion, he said Central government’s aim was to provide pucca houses to every family. In this connection, the Centre was supporting the housing schemes of the state governments.
He ordered officials to complete the houses within a week and handover them to the beneficiaries. He expressed his pleasure on construction of 2 BHK houses in 560 square feet and appreciated District Collector Surendra Mohan, respective engineers and contractors for paying special attention to the construction works and choosing of beneficiaries.
Sharma, meanwhile, suggested digging of harvesting pits and soak pits for conservation of water. Collector informed him that he would complete the task under NREGS works.
In a special meeting with Collector Surendra Mohan, Central officials enquired the status of construction of 2 BHK houses in the district. DRO Yadireddy, RDO S Mohan Rao, officials of R&B and Revenue departments accompanied Sharma.
