​Kothagudem: Plantation should be treated by everyone as a social responsibility, A N Varma, Chairman of Heavy Water Board said here on Friday, while addressing the students of AECS School in Gautaminagar Colony of Aswaraopet. Earlier after visiting the Science Park, he planted some saplings in connection with his visit.

During his address to the students, Varma said plantation would provide pollution-free environment for future generations. Likening the trees with gods, he said that the trees provide oxygen for the mankind.

He advised the students to go for nutrient food instead of junk food. Complimenting the residents of Gautaminagar Colony for growing a lot of trees, he advised to continue the same spirit in future.

Sesha Sai, Vice-Chairman of Heavy Water Board, Jitendra Srivastav, CGM of Heavy Water Plant at Manuguru, AECS School Principal Venkanna, Vice-Principal Swarna Rani, teachers and students attended the programme.
