Hanamkonda: MRPS founder-president Manda Krishna Madiga has alleged that because of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, he lost his freedom and his life is in danger.

He said the police in Andhra Pradesh have been arresting him whenever he visited the State to review arrangements for the proposed ‘Kurukshetra Sabha’, a public meeting aimed to press for the demand of SC’s categorisation.

Speaking to press persons in Hanamkonda on Monday, the MRPS leader said the AP police, after arresting, was dropping him in Telangana with an advice not to tour in their State but limit to Telangana. ‘When I questioned their act, the police told me that they have orders from the top’.

The AP CM during a recent meeting has also directed the legislators belonging to Madiga community not to support activities of the MRPS and its leader, who belongs to Telangana. ‘It is undemocratic. Though I have no police case against me, Chandrababu Naidu is restricting my travel in AP,’ Krishna Madiga said.

The MRPS leader sought to know how the AP CM, who owns a house in Hyderabad, travels in Telangana State and why he was prevented from moving in Andhra Pradesh. Krishna Madiga alleged that a vehicle has closely followed his car, when he was travelling from Suryapet to Warangal a couple of days ago.

“Those in the vehicle have reached Kazipet following me. When the MRPS activists questioned them, they claimed to be police department personnel. When demanded to produce their IDs they escaped in their vehicle,” Krishna Madiga explained.

He suspected that those in the vehicle that followed him might be Chandrababu Naidu’s private army hired to do harm to his life. The Telangana CM, K Chandrashekar Rao, should look into the issue and find out the identity of the stalkers within 24 hours.

Krishna Madiga asserted that he or his followers could not be deterred by the warnings of the AP CM. It would be better for Chandrababu Naidu to change his way,s otherwise he would have to face the wrath of the community, he warned.
