Make HH arrangements on a war footing: Karimnagar Collector
The District Collector, Sarfaraz Ahmed, has ordered the officials concerned to make arrangements on a war footing for the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s visit on July 12, to inaugurate the third phase of prestigious Telanganaku Haritha Haram programme.

The Collector on Monday inspected the arrangements made at Alugunur, Ujwala Park, Lower Manair Dam bund, Markfed, Collectorate and Ambedkar Stadium here in Karimnagar on Monday.
Later speaking at a meeting held with the management of various educational institutions here at Collectorate Conference Hall, the Collector directed the managements of educational institutions to send their students to their allotted blocks before 9.30 am and by the arrival of Chief Minister, the students must be ready to plant the saplings.
Train the students on how to plant saplings like a professional, the Collector suggested, adding that as the official siren goes off, the students must start planting the saplings without any delay.
All the officials, employees, people’s representatives irrespective of their political parties should participate actively in planting one lakh saplings a single day under Haritha Haram to make Karimnagar a green city, urged the Collector.
City Commissioner Shashank, Rural Development Officer Raja Goud, District Forest Officer Srinivas, Haritha Haram Special Officer Anjaneyulu, District Revenue Officer Venkateshwar Rao, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Padmaja Rani and District Education Officer Rajiv attended the meeting along with the managements of various educational institutions.
