Nellikuduru KGBV food poison case: Four employees suspended
A special officer, a teacher and two cooks serving at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Nellikuduru in the district were suspended in connection with hospitalisation of students following food poisoning on Saturday night.

The District Collector, Preeti Meena, on Monday issued orders placing services of special officer Sumalatha, contract resource teacher Manjula and two cooks under suspension. They were held responsible for the incident of food poison.
The Collector has visited the residential school on Monday and interacted with the students. 19 students at the KGBV have also complained of stomach pain on Monday and were admitted to Mahabubabad area hospital. It might be recalled that 29 students suffered from diarrhoea and vomiting on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, SP N Koti Reddy has visited the hospital and enquired about the health condition of the students and interacted with the doctors.
