Officials told to supply enough saplings

Kothagudem: Local legislator Jalagam Venkat Rao on Tuesday supervised the transport of saplings to Garimellapadu for the third phase of the Haritha Haram programme, to be held on Wednesday.

Saplings of mango, lemon, curry leaves and others were transported to the venue in Chunchupalli mandal. He asked officials to ensure no shortage of saplings and supply them on requirement.

He further asked them to categorise the plants into fruit-bearing, flower-bearing and shade-giving plants. District Revenue Officer Kiran Kumar, DRDA officer Jagat Kumar Reddy and others took part in the programme.
