The Singareni Collieries is all set to plant as many as one crore saplings during the third phase of Haritha Haram programme, which would commence on Wednesday (July 12) .
Mancherial: The Singareni Collieries is all set to plant as many as one crore saplings during the third phase of Haritha Haram programme, which would commence on Wednesday (July 12) .
Divisional Manager Subhani participating in a meeting held at Srirampur said one lakh flower saplings, 60,000 fruit saplings, saplings belonging to plant species that are about to extinct and the saplings of shade-giving plants are available at Srirampur nursery. Saplings will be distributed to people and all the government employees, he added.
The company management called upon the employees and their family members to take part in the programme and make it a grand success. Deputy General Manager J Kiran Kumar, Singareni Forest officials and others were present in the meeting.
