Earlier, the Minister held a review meeting with officials at Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA). Later speaking to media persons, he thanked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for announcing Rs 100 crore towards development of the Bhadradri Temple. “Master plan for the temple development is ready.

Tenders will soon be invited. The government is ready to supply drinking water to every house though Mission Bhagiratha. The completion of Sitarama project would enable supply of drinking and irrigation water for Bhadradri-Kothagudem and Khammam districts,” he added.

Later as part of Haritha Haram programme, the Minister planted saplings on the bank of the River Godavari. District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu, Khammam ZP Chairperson G Kavitha, MLC Balasani Lakshminarayana, Bhadrachalam Legislator Sunnam Rajaiah, RDO Sivannarayana Reddy, ASP Sunil Dutt, Tahsildar P Rama Krishna, CI B Srinivasulu and others accompanied the minister.
